Alan Silber frequently has appeared in circuit courts for the United States Court of Appeals and the State of New Jersey. In United States v.   • The Second Circuit in Grand Subpoena Duces Tecum (contempt against an attorney for refusal to testify against a client in the Grand Jury)

Both Ms. Slater and Mr. Silber have appeared in state appeals courts. Ms. Slater has appeared in the Court of Appeals of Virginia (felony assault on volunteer firefighter), and has litigated in the Supreme Court of Virginia (murder). Mr. Silber, before moving to Virginia, appeared regularly in the appellate and Supreme Court of New Jersey arguing a wide variety of reported cases. He also was admitted pro hac vice to argue in the Supreme Court of Oregon.
